Steve Wynn's newest resort, the first one he's ever signed his name to (as he proudly says in his new television commercial), will be one of the most expensive hotels ever built. The 50-story, $2.7 billion property, which will feature 2,700 guestrooms and suites. Nine-foot floor-to-ceiling windows in each of the rooms offer guests sweeping views of the Las Vegas Strip, the property's mountain lake area, and exclusive golf course, which was designed by Tom Fazio and Steve Wynn. Amenities include a spa, plush European linens and bedding, flat screen televisions in both the living and bathroom areas, and high-speed Internet access in every room. High-end retailers at Wynn Las Vegas include Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Gaultier, Oscar de la Renta, Graff, and Jo Malone. The hotel also has a Ferrari and Maserati dealership. By fall 2005, guests will have two unique theater-going experiences to enjoy: a new show by famed creator Franco Dragone will be performed in the round in a domed theater with water surrounding all sides of the audience; and the Tony Award-winning Best Musical "Avenue Q" will take up residence in its own 1,200-seat theater. The property's 200,000 square feet of meeting space has two ballrooms, 18 meeting rooms and two boardrooms equipped with cutting-edge technology.
